SDRM producers can receive payment by year end

​Ontario edible horticulture producers who want to receive their SDR​M payment by the end of 2018 need to submit their deposit and withdrawal requests by October 31.

The deposit and withdrawal request can both be submitted to Agricorp at the same time. Deposits and withdrawals submitted after October 31 may be processed in 2019. The government contribution is taxable in the same year it is made.

Neither the deposit nor the government contribution earns interest.

The last day to make a deposit for the 2018 program year is February 1, 2019.

For producers who have signed up for direct deposit, withdrawn funds will be deposited directly into their bank account. Producers not yet enrolled for direct deposit can sign up at agricorp.com/directdeposit.
