To give farmers more time to evaluate their coverage decisions, the government of Ontario is extending the deadline to secure coverage in 2023 RMP for livestock and RMP: Grains and Oilseeds to
June 30, 2023.
RMP helps farmers manage risks beyond their control, like fluctuating costs and market prices.
The extension is for grain and oilseed, cattle, hog, sheep and veal farmers.

Rates for 2023 are available on the
RMP: Grains and Oilseeds page.
To be eligible for RMP: Grains and Oilseeds, customers also need to have Production Insurance coverage. The deadline to secure Production Insurance was May 10.
To apply for RMP: Grains and Oilseeds,
submit an application on agricorp.com.
Existing customers can make coverage changes up until June 30 by contacting Agricorp.
Details for livestock farmers
Rates for 2023 are available on the
cattle,
hog,
sheep, and
veal pages.
