Agricorp has received more than 2,300 damage reports from excess rainfall across the province. Typically, Agricorp receives about 3,500 damage reports from rain over an entire growing season.
"It’s important to remember that damage reports don’t always mean losses. Crops can often recover," Stephanie Charest, Manager of Customer Communications, emphasizes. "In most cases, the extent of the damage won’t be known until after harvest."
Agricorp field staff are assessing the damage on a case-by-case basis and working closely with customers to determine next steps. If you notice damage to your crops, contact Agricorp right away.
