In a challenging year, many Ontario farmers can take comfort in knowing that their crops are covered against risks beyond their control. In 2020, 5.3 million acres of crops are insured under
Production Insurance, which is 300,000 acres more than last year.

The following maps show corn and soybean acres across Ontario that are covered by Production Insurance for 2020.
This year, more than 1.6 million acres of corn and 2 million acres of soybeans are covered by Production Insurance.
