How Production Insurance helps
With too much rain in some parts of the province and too little in others,
Agricorp is helping farmers understand how their program coverage works so they can make decisions that are best for their farms.
The following rainfall maps show the wide range of precipitation for most of the growing season. Check back in the fall for an update on August rainfall.
With such variable rainfall, it's beneficial that so many crops are covered by Production Insurance, which covers losses caused by an insured peril, such as weather.
Farmers with Production Insurance who have damage from weather or any other insured peril, and who haven't spoken with Agricorp yet, should do so as soon as possible.
