Every fruit farmer knows about risks. The ones beyond their control. Things like severe weather, pests, increased expenses and market uncertainties. Agricorp is here to help.
Fruit farmers can take part in programs Agricorp delivers to help manage the risks they face every day. Now is the time to ensure they have the coverage they need.
Production Insurance
2023 Fruit Policy renewal packages
Agricorp is sending Production Insurance renewal packages to customers in early December. To get their renewals, customers need to report 2022 final yields. If a customer does not get their renewal package by late December, they should contact Agricorp.
Apply or change coverage by January 1
Farmers who want to apply for or change their Production Insurance coverage should contact Agricorp by January 1. For 2023, Agricorp will accept coverage changes up until January 3 due to the statutory holiday.
Agricorp.com has all the information needed to participate, including premium rates, important dates and other information about how the program works. Customers can simply select their commodity to find information and learn about any 2023 program updates for the commodities they grow.
Are you a grape customer?
Agricorp staff are working with customers to finalize yields and determine claims. Staff are assessing vines for those with claims. To keep the claim process moving, customers are asked to respond promptly to any questions from Agricorp and tell Agricorp about any more damage as soon as possible.
