Shortfall permit
Elevator operators who think they will be in a shortfall position must apply for a permit.
To get a shortfall permit, elevator operators must:
- Pay a $150 fee
- Provide financial security for the full value of the grain shortfall.
Offsite storage permit
Elevator operators who want to store grains and oilseeds on unlicensed premises must first apply for an offsite storage permit.
There is no fee for an offsite storage permit.
